Concerned about its stakeholder engagements, the management of the Nigeria Network of NGOs led by its Executive Director, Mr. Oyebisi Babatunde Oluseyi met with Shell’s Stakeholder Managers at the Networks Secretariat in Lagos on the 13th of July 2011 to explore how Shell Nigeria can better improve on its operations in Nigeria.
Following up on an earlier agreement included in a communiqué at the end of a seminar on the street child, non state actors and representatives of Ministries, Departments and Agencies of Government working on the street child have met in Lagos at an initial member’s only meeting to fashion out possible ways of working.
Through the month of June from the first week, Vitiligo Support and Awareness Foundation (VITSAF) started a Vitiligo Awareness campaign to mark their first global Vitiligo Awareness Day. VITSAF as the name implies has Vitiligo awareness and support as its core area of work with support to the disfigured and related skin conditions.
