Sickle Cell Foundation Nigeria in collaboration with MTN Foundation held its Closing & Certificate Award Ceremony of the 7th Genetic Counselling Training Course on Sickle Cell Disorder at the National Sickle Cell Centre, Idi-Araba, Surulere. Sickle Cell anaemia is the commonest hereditary disease in the world. Ford Foundation-supported First Annual Professor Ransome-Kuti International Policy Dialogue in Primary Health Care and Reproductive Health organised by Women’s Health and Action Research Centre (WHARC) whose vision is to become the leading centre of excellence in Africa providing essential and up-to-date information, research, data and services in sexual and reproductive health. Professor Adetokunbo Lucas delivered the keynote address on “Primary Care versus Primary Health Care: Clarifying the Confusion and Resolving the Conflict.” Dr. Adhiambo Odaga, the Ford Foundation Representative for West Africa spoke on behalf of the donor agencies. 1 Jun, 2007
