Thursday 29th November was a big day for the Nigeria Network of NGOs (NNNGO) with our Annual Conference and the simultaneous launch of our 5 year strategic plan.

The first-hand testimonies we received from members at the conference backed up our impression of how participants enjoyed proceedings at the conference. Discussions at the conference highlighted effective ways in which civil society organizations in partnership with other actors (government, donors and the private sector) can contribute to fostering the nation’s development.

CSO consultative meetings always generate excitement, ideas, experiences, aspirations, actions, innovations and best practices. How true that was of the Africa Wide CSO consultative meeting on the post 2015 development framework held from 23rd to 25th October, 2012. Invited civil society organizations from all over Africa gathered at the Golden Gate Hotel in Monrovia, Liberia.
